Nisbet Plantation

Much to my happy surprise yesterday, our beloved honeymoon destination was the travel destination of the day, via DailyCandy! Not many people have heard of Nevis, (including myself... that is, until we stepped on the plane!) but I thought I'd take a minute to share a couple pics of this sweet sugar plantation-turned-resort deep in the heart of the British West Indies: The Nisbet Plantation. If you're in the market for a honeymoon or special vacay... I couldn't give more enthusiastic recs :) The Nisbet even has a cute blog so you can see what they're up to!

Dallas Flea

This sure beats driving to the next small town!

On Saturday, the flea market comes to us (well, if you're in Dallas!) in a more glorified form. A boutique form. A local form. A selective form. And this one's about to make its debut in DFW.

The brainchild of Brittany Edwards, DailyCandy Dallas' editor, Dallas Flea will showcase 50 local artists selling fun handiwork from home decor to food to stationery and kids furniture -- this is really the perfect one-stop holiday shop! Toss in a $5 admission fee, and call yourself set. Will I see you there? I am definitely carving out a couple hours to check it all out!
