Wifey Wednesday

Normally sports isn't a main topic of Life as a Wife (obvi), but tonight we make an exception for my favorite home team, the Texas Rangers! Sometimes being a wife means being a sports fan, but in my case, I would much consider this to be my sports treat for the season.

In case you live in outer space, the Rangers are currently playing the San Francisco Giants in the 2010 World Series. This series is particularly special because it is the Rangers' first trip ever to the series! We just couldn't be more proud of our team :)

Some of my best childhood memories involve going to Rangers' games as a kid with my Dad, sitting in our same seats behind the on-deck circle, and even wearing my T-ball team cap and bringing my glove to catch foul balls. To this day our game ball stash sits proudly on a bookshelf in the living room and overflow is stored in my old room amidst concert tickets and high school homecoming mums. Long and patient we've waited for this day to come, and here it is!

There's not much else to say, but: go Rangers... it's time!
